Told in a poetic manner and filled with fun laughter-inducing illustrations, this book is quite hilarious! It’s Christmas Eve in Maine, and of course right on the night that Santa has to deliver his gifts to all the waiting girls and boys, the reindeer become sick. The fate of Christmas is still unknown. However, maybe just a farmer would be the perfect person to help…
After the Snowfall by Rich Lo
One snowy night beautifully comes to life in charming words and gorgeous pictures. If you’re looking to show your kids the beauty of nature in winter time, this book is for you. As a fox emerges from his hiding place and sees all the graceful, elegant creatures of the forest, you will be swept away into a world of beauty and the magic of nature. After the Snowfall is told in very few words and lets you enjoy the majestic quality of the illustrations.
Twelve Days of Winter: A Wildlife Celebration by Sherri Maret
In this beautiful story about wintry wildlife, it is designed to be able to sing along in the tune of Twelve Days of Christmas! This makes this book a wildly fun and engaging pick for toddlers and older kids too! Full of animals from a moose to busy beavers, this book is packed with wildlife. I would definitely recommend to all the young kids in my life.
I hope you enjoyed this post! This season is the most magical time of the year and the only thing that makes it better is having some great books waiting to be read in your house.
