Hello!

Today’s post is featuring a novel titled Not Exactly Mr. Darcy written by romance author Carolyn Miller. If you’ve ever read and enjoyed Pride and Prejudice (which I think everyone MUST read at some point in their reading journey) then this book should be added to your TBR immediately!

Published just a couple weeks ago on December 1st, this book marks the first in a brand new series titled the Silver Teapot.

I am a huge Jane Austen fan, so needless to say, I really enjoyed this book.

When Olivia Bennet must leave her home and care for her grandmother, she’s not exactly having the time of her life.

However, soon she begins work at Hartbury Hall which was used in the film of Pride and Prejudice. Although the young gardener there seems to be nothing like the heroic figure in the original Jane Austen novel.

While Austen’s character was honest, true, and loyal, Liam seemed not much like the man of Olivia’s dreams. But soon Olivia finds that there is much more to Liam than she had originally thought.

Love can be found in unexpected circumstances.

I enjoyed this book because of its witty, remarkable heroine, and the engaging plot and storyline.

It was also a very short novel compared to many other books out there, so it made it a light, easy read.

I would recommend this book to any romance readers looking for a fun sweet book.

Thank you to Barbour Books for providing my own copy!
