A New Release Worthy of Valentines Day Reading

Are you in need of a sweet romance this Valentines Day? Author Michelle Griep released a new novel on February 1st, and I have just finished reading it! If you’re interested in a sweet, swoon-worthy, yet action-packed romance, then this is the book for you!

The Bird of Bedford Manor was nothing that I had expected. It was better. It was mysterious, full of captivating characters, and full of romantic intrigue and suspense. I read it in a single sitting.

One thing that stood out to me were the unique character development- and all of the story events? I saw none of them coming! Full of twists and turns, this book was enthralling.

In short? I loved it!

Let’s dive a little deeper into the plot.

The year is 1820, and Juliet Finch’s life has been completely ruined. The destruction of her life is much attributed to the sins of her father. She was thrown into a life where she is self-reliant and has to survive in a dangerous world where the odds are against her. Already, women aren’t necessarily safe, especially women who are forced to live dangerously. Like Juliet.

However, Juliet doesn’t complain.

One day, she is caught poaching. The consequence for her crimes is potential death, but her captor offers a compromise. If Juliet is willing to help find the person guilty of his sister’s torment, she just might be able to avoid this desperate fate.

Needless to say, Juliet accepts.

This thrilling novel is intriguing. It’s nothing what you might initially expect- it’s better. I highly recommend.
