Hello, everyone!
Today I’m back with a beautiful story written by Amie White and illustrated by Olena Oprich.
This book is especially beautiful and inspiring to all the young girls struggling to find their place in the world.
A Friend for Hope is the story of nine-year-old Zoe Meadows, a shy, quiet girl who just moved to Ivy Creek with her family. She has not met any of the kids her age and eventually finds herself feeling completely alone.
Upon realizing this, her parents decide that maybe a furry friend would be the perfect match for young Zoe. Maybe then she wouldn’t feel so alone- if she had a dog by her side to love and take care of.
When they visit the shelter, one sweet dog immediately steals Zoe’s heart. Much to her parents’ surprise, it’s not a puppy. It’s a senior dog that has been at the shelter for several years.
Even through her parents’ hesitation at adopting a senior dog, Zoe stood firm in her decision. She and the dog both know that an immediate bond had formed between them and that they were meant for each other.
This sweet story about a girl and her furry best friend is sure to delight!
I loved this book. The main character Zoe, and the beauty of her story is something that will stay with me.
Kids are sure to enjoy this beautiful story. 💕
