An Educational Story for Young Readers
Thank you to Electryon Press for providing me with my own copy! Your support of the Bookish Queen is much appreciated. Congratulations on this new release!
I love educational books- stories designed to teach young kids important lessons or values. The Little Red Hen Learns How to Ask for Help is carefully written and illustrated in a way that shows young children the importance of asking for help politely and in a way that sounds inviting to those around them.
What an important lesson!
When the Little Red Hen wants to bake herself some bread, she decides to ask her friends for help. One by one, she travels around looking for friends willing to cut wheat, mill the grain, collect water, and so on and so forth! However, none of them respond in her favor, and Little Red Hen is forced to bake all alone.
Then when her friends ask her to share, Little Red Hen refuses! Since she was forced to do all the work by herself, why should she share?
However, after she decides she wants to try and bake again, she tries to understand a new way of asking for help.
If you’re looking for a fun, engaging story that also helps teach and educate little ones, this one is the perfect pick and one I highly recommend.
And for those fairy-tale fans out there- it’s also a spin on a classic tale! Any guesses on which one?
Make sure to join Little Red Hen and check out this book!
