Exploring Diverse Reading Formats: Audiobooks, eBooks, and Print books
Hello, readers!
I thought it would be fun to write a post about the different formats of reading available. If you are the indecisive reader who can never decide which format is best for you, then this is the perfect post!
Readers have so many book formats to choose from, including audiobooks, eBooks, and of course, print books.
The fun part? You never have to stick to a single reading format! Many readers switch between different forms of books depending on the situation and their individual needs in that specific moment
Audiobooks:
Audiobooks are perfect for when you are on the go, and keeping the boredom away. If you are in need of something to keep your mind occupied while completing daily tasks like cooking or cleaning, then downloading an audiobook may be the perfect choice for you. Thanks to apps like Audible or Hoopla, you have a wide variety of books to choose from depending on your personal preferences!
eBooks:
Are you a lover of books but worried about storage space? With a device that you can download eBooks onto, you can own a large library of books without using up any inside space in your home!
Although, if you are a visual person like me, eBooks may not be the best option. I have always felt a need to hold a physical copy in my hands, and I find that I have trouble retaining information when reading a digital version.
That being said, for some people, that is not an issue at all, and eBooks are a fantastic solution to not having much storage space for physical copies!
Print books:
I. Love. Physical. Books.
Print books are by far the best option for me. I love being able to smell the pages, see the printed ink, and admire the cover in front of me. They also provide an overall screen-free experience!
For me, physical books are by far my favorite. However, this is just my personal opinion, and other readers might prefer the digital formats.
I hope this post helped some readers think about the different options available for reading! No format is ‘better’ than the other, the ‘best’ is the one that meets your interests and needs most!
