A Review of The Baron and the Ballerina: A Regency Romance

This story is a tale of courage, ambition, and of course, romance

I fell in love with the gorgeous cover from the moment I set eyes on it. The soft blues and grays drew me in immediately, and the title The Baron and the Ballerina told me that this would be a story I did not want to miss.

Weston writes simply and beautifully and has such an amazing way with words. The storyline is intricately woven and brings the reader in from the first page. She built complex characters with complex needs and wants, and I was thoroughly impressed with this sweet regency romance!

The leading female character Allegra is a mother of a little girl and wants only the best for her child. She is even willing to sacrifice her entire future by marrying a man she feels no kind of love towards in any way. Allegra is aware that if she marries a wealthy man, her daughter could grow up surrounded by everything she could ever want.

The story is told in a way that makes you passionate about every single character and builds empathy throughout.

If you are a lover of any kind of historical fiction or romance, this would be a fabulous next read!
