Have you ever found an author where you read all of their books and then immediately set out to buy their next ones as soon as they release?

In today’s posts I thought I’d share some of my favorite authors that are absolute auto-buys for me. Whenever they come out with a new book, I immediately know that I will be purchasing my own copy!

It takes a great author to be able to write stories that consistently have fantastic character development and plots. Here are some of my favorites!

Gail Carson Levine

You might recognize Gail Carson Levine’s name from some of my previous posts on the blog. She’s written countless novels including Ella Enchanted, a Cinderella retelling that went on to win several awards.

What I love about her writing is the magical and exquisite characters along with the captivating plots.

She is coming out with her book The Unusuals next month, so preorder that!

Janette Oke

Some of you may know the name Janette Oke from the When Calls the Heart Hallmark series. She wrote When Calls the Heart originally as a book series, before Hallmark adapted it for screen! The books are absolutely amazing. So sweet and heartwarming.

However, this isn’t her only published work! She’s written several others, each with the same sweet vibes.

Dana’s Valley is another incredible story- a tearjerker- and makes me ugly cry every time.

Karen Kingsbury

Karen Kingsbury writes incredible faith-based fiction. While many of these are heavy stories with mature topics, they are full of values and lessons.

Several have been turned into movies, such as Someone Like You and The Christmas Ring.

If you love faith-based romance, I guarantee you’ll love Karen Kingsbury!
